I know, it's a very different type of job than the one he has now, and maybe he has no interest in it. But he is on the short list, as well. It's a nod to how badly he got screwed, I think, and a decent thing to do.Why would Garland want it? It isn't much of a raise and it subject him to possibly getting fired down the road as opposed to Lifetime Tenure in his current gig?I'd rather see Garland get it, if he wants it.I imagine that a lot of bigwigs will be delighted to pay that amount or even more -- especially since word is being floated about that the Distinguished Governor (and Emmy winner) is on President Biden's short list to be Attorney General.
