Man accidentally kills member of own gang who wore wrong colors
A California man allegedly mistakenly shot and killed a member of his own gang who was wearing the colors of a rival gang.
Andrew Chavez, 21, was arrested Wednesday on murder charges several days after police began investigating the death of Michael Sanchez in Madera, California, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Chavez reportedly shot and killed Sanchez,who was walking home from a bar while wearing the colors of a rival gang, “in cold blood,” the Madera Police Department told the Times.
Sanchez and Chavez are both in the gang Norteno, which identifies itself with a red color.
And looky here..........the guy was already on probation for an illegal gun offense...and instead of doing 30 years...he is out on the street killing people...this is the real problem with guns...our criminal justice system bitches about gun crime, then releases killers back onto the streets.....
you would think they wanted the killing......
The 21-year-old Chavez was already on probation for evading police while carrying an AK-47 assault rifle, police said.
See.....in Japan....this guy would not have been released on Parole for this gun crime......he would have been held in jail, convicted of the crime because they have a 98% conviction rate, and he would be serving 30 years in prison......
That is how you stop gun crime in this country.......not going after law abiding gun owners...
