Anyone got firm penalty numbers?

There are Obamacare penalties for spouses and apparently children 18-26 they start at $6,350 and I don't know about the upper limit, the figures I see on Bloomberg and other sites are all over the place. There are conflicting reports as to whether children under 18 also incur penalties and how much. What, if anything, is known about the penalties.

Are you stating $6350 per year per family or per individual? I know a lot of people have stated that it's actually cheaper to take the penalty than to sign up for Obamacare--so that's what they're planning. Can the states assess a separate penalty in addition to the Federal governments penalty? You're right it's not clear as yet to what the penalties for not having insurance is going to be.
