Expect Democrats to back away from what they have been pushing in the past year and when things improve they will say "see how we're improving America".

So basically they cause problems and will pat themselves on the back for "fixing" those problems by simply reversing their decisions that caused the problems.

I suspect around mid terms we will see a combination of them saying they reduced mandates to get America back on its feet after the Republicans used covid as a way to mess up America,. X amount of electric cars are being produced and domestic oil production slowed because they care about the environment, and more anti racism agendas and Jan 6th thrown in for good measure as they try to paint themselves as the good guys.
