How long before this sort of things is in a town near you in the US ? Would you be so blase if it did, if so then for someone exercising their Constitutional right to free speech you seem to not be worried so much about the rest of the 1st Amendment and others right to free exercise of it.

Speaking from personal experience Muslims do not take a presumed slight to their religion as well as Christians do. I've had direct shouting matches with Christians but nothing else. While stationed in Korea had to forcefully remove to self-proclaimed moderate muslims from a bar my Ethiopian girlfriend and her Somali friend where in because after they introduced themselves the Somali girl got angry describing the murder and mayhem Muslims were causing against Christians in her homeland she wasn't particularly kind but that was no reason for the moderate muslims to turn over our table and threaten the girl that's when I showed them the door.

As a Christian I am not offended by anyone celebrating Kwanza, Jews celebrating Hanukkah, or even Jerry Seinfeld fans celebrating 'Festivus'. Why should I mind - their doing so brings them Joy and does not take anything away from me. My family gives my wife's ex-Mother-in-Law's Jewish husband (Yeah, we are close and it is a WEIRD family thing) Hanukkah presents every year.

Many people go out and LOOK for something to be offended by. Others look to impose their will on others. There are even some so miserable they want to inflict that on others.

The most universal message that should be embraced by all people - those of faith and not -is 'Love one another'. do unto others as you would have done unto you!

Whether a person of faith or not, I personally hope EVERYONE has an awesome, blessed Christmas and a joyous Holiday, no matter what you celebrate.
