GAZA, (PIC)-- Dr. Mohammed Askool, the Palestinian minister of education, said on Thursday that high school results of this year were unprecedented considering the unjust Israeli siege and the sharp shortage in electricity supply in the Gaza Strip.

The minister's remarks came as he honored successful high school graduates in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, saying that the final exams were conducted in a smooth and disciplined manner.

Furthermore, Askool pointed out that the students in Gaza Strip achieved distinguished results despite the sharp shortage in electricity supply in the Strip as a result of the Israeli siege in clear message to the Israeli occupation that nothing would stop the Palestinian people from pursuing their path and achieving their national objectives.
