And when your education information comes from MSM you can consider yourself as informed as that bucket under the sink or the closet. You are listening to the wrong information. Someday some will figure that out others never will.
The very point mentioned within the article will go right over the heads of those who are well clueless...

Turkey is doing the same thing and it has nothing to do with religious freedom.

It is about forcing religious trash on people and control. You're a fascist little creep mindwars that needs to be deported to turkey where it is being done right and leave me the fuck alone.

The Freedom from Religion Foundation is a shitstain on my state, where they're based. They're a bunch of low-browed knuckle-draggers left over from when we were a progressive's paradise. They also use fascist tactics to intimidate religious groups across the country.

The lot of them can choke on a bag of rotten dicks.

Atheists spend more time squawking about religion than anyone.

Strange for a group that doesn't believe in it

They're only doing that because their funding is down. They're hoping for some Christmas donations to keep them in business, so they can spread their anti-Christmas bullshit.

Typical leftists. I'm surprised they gave him coal because every good leftist knows that coal is evil and makes global warming.

I have a very serious question. Maybe someone here can answer it or direct me to a site that has the answer. Here is my question:
Have atheists ever sued Muslims or Islam? Curious people want to know.

Atheists are to religion what the TPM and Alt Right are to political liberty.

I looked at their site. They bitch about Islamic stuff happening in other countries, but nothing here in the US. All they do here is attack Christianity.

My husband has asked the same thing. Why is it some of these pricks only go after Christians and their holidays, or what they believe in and never other religions like what you mention.

INSIDE PLANTS to do it on purpose maybe.................. Gov. pricks of course shadow Gov. etc.

There is no war on Christmas anymore than Christians are warring on atheism.

As an agnostic, I actually find atheists more full of shit than Bible-thumping fanatics. Because every "atheist" I've ever seen sucks so much muslim cock that when I hear the term "atheist" I assume that person is a wanna-be muslim who doesn't want to admit they're attracted to the most praised-by-Hitler, human-rights-atrocity ideology of HATE on this planet. It is the height of arrogance for anyone to presume they're the know-all absolute of matters that can never be physically proven or disproven. Whether atheist or religious fanatic. I have the humility to say, "I have no way of knowing one way or the other."

As an interesting aside, I've seen plane crash documentaries in which survivors have said, "You won't find a single atheist on a plane that's about to crash."

Trump is encouraging the use of religion as a weapon to smack down those who don't believe and those who's lifestyles and values go against the grain of the radical right .

Two meanings of religious freedom/liberty:1. Freedom of belief, speech, practice. 2. Freedom to restrict services, hate, denigrate, or oppress others.

1. The historical meaning of religious freedom:

This term relates to the personal freedom:
•Of religious belief,
•Of religious speech,
•Of religious assembly with fellow believers,
•Of religious proselytizing and recruitment, and
•To change one's religion from one faith group to another -- or to decide to have no religious affiliation -- or vice-versa.

The individual believer has often been the target of oppression for thinking or speaking unorthodox thoughts, for assembling with and recruiting others, and for changing their religious affiliation. Typically, the aggressors have been large religious groups and governments. Freedom from such oppression is the meaning that we generally use on this web site to refer to any of the four terms: religious freedom, religious liberty, freedom of worship and freedom to worship.

2. A rapidly emerging new meaning of religious freedom: the freedom to discriminate and denigrate:

In recent years, religious freedom is taking on a new meaning: the freedom and liberty of a believer apply their religious beliefs in order to hate, oppress, deny service to, denigrate, discriminate against, and/or reduce the human rights of minorities.

Now, the direction of the oppression has reversed. It is now the believer who is the oppressor -- typically fundamentalist and evangelical Christians and other religious conservatives. Others -- typically some women, as well as sexual, and other minorities -- are the targets. This new meaning is becoming increasingly common. It appears that this change is begin driven by a number of factors:

•The increasing public acceptance of women's use of birth control/contraceptives. This is a practice regarded as a personal decision by most faith groups, but is actively opposed by the Roman Catholic and a few other conservative faith groups.
•The increasing public acceptance of equal rights for sexual minorities including Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transgender persons and transsexuals -- the LGBT community (); and
•The increasing percentage of NOTAs in North America. These are individuals who are NOT Affiliated with an organized faith group. Some identify themselves as Agnostics, Atheists secularists, Humanists, free thinkers, etc. Others say that they are spiritual, but not religious.

The media often refer to NOTAs as "NONES" because they are affiliated to NONE of the faith groups. However, the words Nones and Nuns are homophones: words that sound alike but are spelled differently and which hold very different meanings. To avoid confusion, we recommend against this practice and recommend the unambiguous term "NOTA."

One interesting feature of this "religious freedom to discriminate" is that it generally has people treating others as they would not wish to be treated themselves. It seems to be little noticed among those who practice or advocate "religious freedom to discriminate" that this way of treating people is a direct contradiction to the Golden Rule, which Jesus required all his followers to practice. See Matthew 7:12, Luke 6:31, and the Gospel of Thomas, 6.
