Many snowflakes are foaming at the mouth declaring the Democrats are going to win in the mid-terms. I am not sure if this is based on hope, desperation, r they actually are intelligent students of history. The opposing party NOT in power / the party that loses the Presidential election has historically won seats in the follow-on mid-term elections.

It will not be a shock if Democrats take seats or perhaps even the House / Senate with such a close number already. It will be a shock if Democrats DON'T.
