Investigators have detained two roommates of the Austin bombing suspect. One roommate was detained, questioned and released. The other is currently being questioned. Their names will not be released because they are not under arrest at this time. APD P

The 23-year-old man accused of setting off a string of explosives in the Austin-area is dead after detonating a bomb and killing himself as the SWAT team closed in to take him into custody, authorities have confirmed. While the suspect is dead, Austin police are warning the public to remain vigilant because there may be other devices out there.

The video of the bomber's vehicle shows the winshield to be heavily cracked from the explosion.....but.....there didn't appear to be any blood on the windshield. One would think that if a person was blown up inside the car with enough force to seriously damage he windshield, there would be some blood on it.

In seriousness, I imagine most roommates would respect each other's privacy. Some roommates are just roommates, not good friends. It's possible they never set foot in his room.

• Mr. Conditt, the oldest of four children, was home-schooled by his mother. He also attended classes at two Austin Community College campuses from 2010 to 2012, but did not graduate.
