The riots are backed by people with money and people who are good at manipulating the public and organizing these riots. The ones behind the scenes are educated people, but by no means intelligent people. Looks like the products of successful indoctrination by past Marxist professors. These rioters are typical hypocrites, which is usually the case with these types. They claim to want socialism or more government control, but not for themselves. They prefer to do as they wish while working to impose oppressive rules on the majority of the population.

The liberal media had to know the people behind the riots, but chose not to report on it. They still push the notion that it's just average poor people. What we have here are community organizers at work pushing their own agenda.
