I see no problem with having law enforcement, federal or otherwise, on hand at the voting sites. It would reduce voter intimidation which has happened in our history. All elections should be free and fair.

So are u saying that there is voter intimidation and who is intimidating them? Election in the last 20 years has not had law enforcement or federal people at the polling place. Why does Trump feel the need to do it now.

there’s finally a clearly documented case of election fraud that actually appears to have changed an election result. The cruel irony for Republicans is that operatives from their own party — particularly “consultant” Leslie McCrae Dowless — allegedly did the deed.

But what happened in North Carolina is the functional equivalent of old-fashioned, 19th-century ballot-box stuffing. Unused absentee ballots were fraudulently filled out with signatures forged, and actually filled-out absentee ballots cast for the “wrong” candidate were discarded.

It would be good for Trump to send federal troops to polling stations to guarantee the law was followed. They could check names and arrest those with outstanding warrants or those who were late on child support payments. That would be a great bonus.
