If not for Trump, you would have been entering year 13 straight of Obama policies. I think the new word you picked up is "Canadian", since if you actually were Canadian you wouldn't be voting in US elections, you wouldn't have any relationship with US political parties and you certainly wouldn't have a say in who the state of Nebraska picks to represent it in the United States Senate.
