Pundits like to extol Senator Bernie Sanders because he has the highest support among "younger" voters.
Let's think about that. His most fervent core of support exists among a large group of potential voters who probably:
And Sanders has basically NO support among the generations about whom none of the above observations could be made. Voters who have had Real Jobs, supported themselves (and others), paid tons of federal, state, and local taxes, have been married, had kids, and one way or another are paying for their own healthcare. He has no support among the people who remember how fucked up the Soviet Union was - at the time when Sanders was honey-mooning in Moscow.
Why is no one pointing out that Sanders' support is rooted in people who may be educated, but they are sadly lacking in Real World experience...and this is not a good thing for the Bern, or for those who might get stuck with him as the Democrat candidate for President.
Of course, Bernie being the Democrat candidate come August is a "wet dream" for us Republicans.
Rock on, Bernie!

- Have never supported themselves,
- Have never paid any significant amount in Federal taxes,
- Have never owned real estate (thus have never paid significant School Taxes),
- Have never been married, never raised children, never been to a parent-teacher conference,
- Have never voted in a Presidential election before,
- Have never paid for their own healthcare or health insurance, and
- Are too young to have any real recollection of the Soviet Union or the Cold War.
