I like to drink my spirits without mixers...ice only.
So I only buy good spirits.
I don't drink bourbon but, if I was to get a good one that I could drink neat or with ice what would you suggest?
Forget the $20 limit.

Trader Joe's brand, I'm not sure of the name but very nice for the price. I also like Ancient Age if you can find it.
Is that replying to the OP or me?
OP you requested the good stuff.
Those bottles are priced between $80 and $250 each, though the secondary market will surely fetch a much higher price. A bottle of Pappy Van Winkle 23-year released last year is currently listed at $2,700 on one reseller’s website.
Crikey!

I paid about $200 for the last bottle I bought. Get your name on a list and find a seller that you can trust. I try to buy two if I can, one for investment one for special occasions.

Woodford Reserve Double Barrel smoothest thing you will touch all year and about $50-60 at a store.

What's your mixer for cheap bourbon?
Where I come from it's usually Coke or another sweet soda called L&P.

If someone knows what they are doing they can produce a drink on the back porch that makes Makers Mark jealous.
