Except they don't pay 60%. The pay anywhere from 19 to zero.

The top 1% pay over 40% of all Federal income taxes. What should they pay?

You are playing with words. You left out all the other taxes paid and some of them are also Federal. Anyone from the 76,000 to 150,000 pays more than the 1% does in total taxes. And that is the backbone of the tax system. Yet the bulk fo the last tax breaks went for everyone over 150,000.
