Biden stabs rail workers in the back

everyone bitches about how corrupt Russia and China are and turn a blind eye to the fact that the United States government is the most corrupt system in the world.
I wouldnt go that far....but I WOULD say that the corruption in the U.S. is veiled much better than in other countries. U.S. politicians hide behind token gestures, welfare handouts, and witch-hunting various scapegoats which they believe make makes them look benefic and patriotic.

China doesn't pretend to be a free country..They haven't renamed their Communist Party in spite of the fact that the world looks down on it. Still other countries are blatantly fascist or ignorant of human rights, workers rights, etc.. We are still one of the freest, most individualistic countries in the world but our corruption is much better hidden. We have carefully orchestrated flase flag excuses for our wars. We blame others for our problems and our liberal media does a bang-up job of making all Moonbats believe it.

The U.S. is the "nice" mob boss who isn't quite as cruel as other mob bosses, so he manages to remain the most popular criminal among his associates. But that ain't sayin' much.

Just give the workers what they’re asking for. Simple. Strike averted.

The anti-worker Biden and US Congress won’t do this because they’re controlled by the wealthy elite.
Tell republicans to vote with democrats on it, and your wish can been accomplished!

No vacation time? Where'd you get that from? The average railroad hand gets 25 - 29 days of PTO annually. More senior employees get 37 - 39 days.
I'm sorry, I was very unclear.... They can not use their vacation time for sick time, because vacation time has to be scheduled ahead of time, and no one has psychic ability to know when they are going to catch the flu.

A solution in my opinion is make 7 days of their vacation time, as FLEX DAYS, where they can be used on the spot for sick time or saved for a prescheduled vacation.

Unions, once a tool of justice for workers, have learned to make business of even that. There are workers in unions who DONT GET SHIT... And there are workers with unions who get a hell of a lot more than they should. Unions are like lawyers but on the collective level. It really has nothing to do with justice in the end, just representation. About who ends up looking stupid in the end so somebody folds and pays up. It's almost as rare to find a union that cares about ethics as it is to find a corporation that does. It's ALL business.

8 of the 12 unions agreed, 4 did not.

The US government has the power to force the terms on them via their ability to regulate interstate commerce.

Yes ... Biden .. the self-proclaimed "union man" and supposed unifier ... fucked up. Many didn't see this as a surprise, and his weak-knee'd punt to Congress fucked him even more .. Unions .. meet the best "union man" ever!!

Lol ..Unions got fucked!

This is a disgraceful action by a US president.Reminiscent of that awful Reagan.
America needs a decent leadership that supports the working man and woman.
If railways are so important then pay them.
Strikes like this are OK when Republicans are in power but if a worker strike rises to the level of making Democrats look bad then to hell with the workers and the strike must be squashed. These workers had the gall to try making Democrats look bad and they paid the price for it.

What's so hard, just give them paid sick days. ???

The way railroads are scheduled. One train not going off due to an engineer or conductor calling in sick fucks up other trains.

Many lines are single track, and it has a ripple effect on schedule.

So the the sick employee still takes the day off for being sick. How does not paying them for a few sick days help keep the trains on time, if they still stay home sick??
