In a way you are right. God is not a singular person but is a plurality with three distinct personalities and three roles. One God, three facets.
When God the Son divested Himself of all His Godly Power to be born as a Man to do the work of Propitiation, God The Father and God The Spirit were still carrying out their roles.

If you cannot understand The Plan for "The Second Adam" to redeem The First Adam, then it is no wonder you don't understand God and so easily are able to mischaracterize Him.
