I did enjoy seeing that yesterday, I always thought Bill Clinton was a good debater. Of course Bush #1 didn't help his own cause by acting like the debate was beneath him, looking at his watch and commenting about missing Jake and the Fat Man. And then when the Republicans laughed at him during his State of the Union message, Clinton came up with an instant rebuttal statement presented in style of the-jokes-on-you to shut them up. He was far from being a Reagan in terms of connecting with people, but I think those two had the best communications skills of presidents in the last 50 years by a long shot.
