Bill Taylor's opening statement- quid pro quo

Soliciting a foreign national to help with one's campaign

Asking for an investigation into missing US taxpayer funds is not helping a campaign, it is helping the US figure out where YOUR PARTY wasted/stole our money....
When the target of the investigation is running in the same election, yes, it's helping Trump's campaign.

But don't worry, boychik, you're a rightwingnut -- no one expects you to understand.

If a politician running for office makes them exempt form investigation, then you should let your commie brethren in DC know. Seems they didn't get the memo.

Of course its a go to strategy for the Trumpfascists. Smears have always been part of Trump's playbook.

Was that from 2nd, 3rd or 4th hand information? And I provided a link already, look it up.

.

You do realize that the whistleblower's testimony was backed up when the call notes were released, right?

No it wasn't.

.
What part of the whistleblower testimony has not been?

Key allegations from the Ukraine whistleblower are true, despite what Trump says

Whistleblower complaint:
“I have received information from multiple U.S. Government officials that the President of the United States is using the power of his office to solicit interference from a foreign country in the 2020 U.S. election. This interference includes, among other things, pressuring a foreign country to investigate one of the President’s main domestic political rivals.”

What we know:
This core claim has been confirmed. Based on Trump’s public comments and the White House transcript of his call with Zelensky, it’s now clear that Trump used his position to pressure Ukraine to investigate Biden. If Zelensky bowed to this pressure, Ukraine would have been interfering in the 2020 election to help Trump win.

Whistleblower complaint:
“The President’s personal lawyer, Mr. Rudolph Giuliani, is a central figure in this effort. Attorney General Barr appears to be involved as well.”

What we know:
The whistleblower was spot-on about Giuliani, who has been transparent about his role and maintains he hasn’t done anything wrong. The whistleblower was less sure about Barr. Trump mentioned Barr on the Zelensky call, but the Justice Department said Barr didn’t learn about it for “several weeks” and that he never discussed Ukraine with Giuliani

Whistleblower complaint:
“According to the White House officials who had direct knowledge of the call, the President pressured Mr. Zelenskyy to … initiate or continue an investigation into the activities of former Vice President Joseph Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.”

What we know:
The White House transcript of the call revealed that this is accurate. Trump told Zelensky: “There’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son, that Biden stopped the prosecution, and a lot of people want to find out about that, so whatever you can do with the attorney general would be great.” In addition, after the complaint was publicly released, Trump publicly asked Ukraine to investigate the Biden family

Whistleblower complaint:
“According to the White House officials who had direct knowledge of the call, the President pressured Mr. Zelenskyy to … assist in purportedly uncovering that allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 US presidential election originated in Ukraine, with a specific request that the Ukrainian leader locate and turn over servers used by the Democratic National Committee and examined by the US cybersecurity firm Crowdstrike.”

What we know:
The White House transcript of the call included Trump’s mention of CrowdStrike, which is at the center of a Trump-supported conspiracy theory about alleged Ukrainian meddling in 2016. Trump said: “I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say CrowdStrike … I guess you have one of your wealthy people … The server, they say Ukraine has it … I would like to have the attorney general call you or your people and I would like you to get to the bottom of it.”

And that is just a small sample.

Now you...

The WH transcript showed that Trump asked Selensky to cooperate with the AG 4 times. The Constitution gives the president free reign to conduct foreign policy and an obligation to enforce the law. Your commie fantasies notwithstanding, there was nothing improper about the call.

Two in one? It looks like an instruction to the young Socialist Democrats being feathered into their little nests, walks like one, talks like one. It's the Ducky Democrat Dilettantes deducing Dame Pelosi's directives. duh!

And now we see the "human scum" on the Right defending their LYING in the face of the truth.

Even Trump thinks Republicans are human scum. They're also painfully rightarded. Evidence of that? Even after being called human scum by Trump, they'll still defend him and they'll even vote for him next year if the Senate doesn't convict him.

That's the last thing they want.
Maybe, maybe not, but in the words of mills lane (cdm version) "let's get it on!" [emoji16]
Man oh, man ThisisMe, you been had. The Democrats not only never had any evidence, they've been proven liars on 5 different expensive explorations into the possibilities they postulate.
This feely-good closed door crapshoot also has no evidence. At best, it's a wannabe quid pro quo that isn't and never was a quid pro quo, and it never will be. Bring it on again? Pass the melatonin, please.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but, it doesnt matter what is true or not, what matters is what dems can get the media to report. Part of what is going on is not just trump impeachment, its public opinion. The dems have done a good job at monopolizing all avenues of media. For the last 3 years, it's been trump, russia, ukraine, collusion, corruption.

My stance, as of late, is, you cant convince anyone they are right or wrong, so why bother. That dent in the cement wall is deep enough, and eventually your head will hurt, so why keep banging.

The dems control the house, so, they basically control the narrative. Repubs can come out and show proof that they are right, and the dems can just leak another news story that will occupy the media cycle, and divert attention to what they want you to "know".

Maybe my stance will change once all this comes out in the open and we can start seeing information coming from the repubs, once they are allowed to start their defense and do some questioning of their own.

I'm just ready to get all this behind us. So my stance is, let's do it! If trump is guilty, then he needs to go, if hes innocent, then we can finally put all this to rest.

ThisisMe said, "If trump is guilty, then he needs to go, if hes innocent, then we can finally put all this to rest."
You, I, and other U.S. taxpayers just shelled out $45 million dollars to get a Mueller Report. It cleared President Trump of the falsetto accusation that he colluded with Russia to get information on Clinton so he could use it to win the election. That never happened, but we found out he never, no not once, contacted the Russians or any other foreign government to get at the paranoid former First Lady of President Bill Clinton.

You may be influenced by people so punked out by Hillary's defeat they cried at her wannabe victory party, and heard their party leaders trying to fix the problem by promising they would "Get Trump" with impeachment the very next day. And they went about it full force for the duration of November, December, and days leading up to the inauguration of President Trump. Their orders to the Democrat operatives of the press have been daily, emailed, faxed, and hand-delivered to synchronize the specific words du jour being identical to all the other 200 news outlets who coordinate Democrat orders expediently.

So I'm not surprised people like you think who aren't tied down to either side, but favor certain elements in one side or the other.

Democrats are outdoing themselves to create an impression that President Trump has done something, It's fiction, every word of it. If you keep that in mind, their lies don't get under your toenails.

The Kavanaugh hoax came first, about the modus operandi under which the Democrats function. It was all a lie, all along, and leftist leadership made it happen. I am hoping you know the details but not wanting to offend you by regurgitating that which is provable and what part is fiction. The question is, why did the Democrats select rape as their cause celebre to erase Kavanaugh off the Supreme Court list forever? The answer is simple: they wanted women mad at President Trump, because he had a higher percentage of women voting for him than they anticipated. 90% of Americans will be madder than a hatter to think a public official has raped somebody else, particularly a single woman who is young and pretty and is vetted in persuasion to the nines.

If you need to know anything about the dirty tricks of the left, and you haven't noticed, stick around. America is in for the next phase about what America is going to do to prevent another Congressional majority from putting the swampy stuff on conceal. We cannot allow this to happen again in this nation. It is not only unconstitutional, it is anti-constitutional, in my humble opinion.

No more secret committee meetings excluding opponent party members of that committee, Democrats.
"You, I, and other U.S. taxpayers just shelled out $45 million dollars to get a Mueller Report."

Blame Republicans.
See what I mean? It doesnt matter what the right says, the left will be set in stone on their narrative. To them, he is guilty, no matter what. Nothing you, I, or anyone else will ever convince them otherwise.

This is why I'm ready for this to be out in the open, to hopefully shed some clarity on everything. All we have now are accusations, assumptions, and one sided leaked information.

Has the whistlblower been cross examined? hmmmm?

Zero first hand information, someone recruited their harvey the rabbit.

.

My Daughters girlfriend said she heard from her brother that their neighbor had a friend who had a cousin that talked to an assistant to the ambassadors gardener who said that he heard a guy at the bar say that Trump engaged in quid pro quo.

IMPEACH

Wow I didn't know your Daughter was an Ambassador or that her girlfriend was an Ambassador who was recounting what the President of the United States had told her.

Ambassador Sondland also told me that he now recognized that he had made a mistake

by earlier telling the Ukrainian officials to whom he spoke that a White House meeting

with President Zelenskyy was dependent on a public announcement of investigations-in

fact, Ambassador Sondland said, “everything” was dependent on such an

announcement, including security assistance. He said that President Trump wanted

President Zelenskyy “in a public box” by making a public statement about ordering such

investigations.

What I think is funny is this cry of 'hearsay' when we all know- if Bill Taylor said he had heard the words straight from Trump's mouth you would still be defending Trump's quid pro quo.
What did sonland say!? No pro quid quo lol

yeah- Sonland did say no quid pro quo.....and then went on to say"

If I am the mayor of a small town and I tell you that the only way you get the town's garbage contract is to give $50K to my election fund- but I tell you that it isn't a 'quid pro quo'- does that mean it isn't a quid pro quo and is therefore legal?

How about; "You're an employee of McDonalds and your boss tells you that the only way you get your paycheck on Friday is to show up to work every day."

QUID PRO QUO - WAHHHHHHH

Putting strings on foreign aid is done 100% of the time..)

Way to avoid the actual subject.

Putting strings on foreign aid is done all the time- no disagreement.

Putting strings on foreign aid for the specific and personal benefit of the President of the United States is not.

Remember when you Communists claimed to WANT to get to the bottom of the interference into the 2016 election?

Of course we all know it was you all along, which is why it's suddenly impeachable to investigate Russian interference in the election.

This is a police investigation? Really?

It is an analogy. I'm trying to help you understand the process. The accused will get his trial in the Senate. The House is like a Grand Jury. Accused criminals and their lawyers don't get to participate in that either. Wait for the Senate trial.
Rules have been made up specifically for this one occasion. Never before has it been handled as it is now.
You might think that's right and I know you do because you have a case of TDS. But, to real America the dems
are fooling no one. It's known as desperation, and in football it's known as a Hail Mary.

That is correct. This IS different because there is no Archibald Cox or Kenneth Starr to conduct the investigation. The House is doing the investigation. Still, despite Ken Starr leaking like a sieve, those investigations were not conducted in public.

The Stalinists under Traitor Schitt are conducting Soviet Style Star Chamber secret tribunals.

Why would America let you get away with it? You're no different than the Nazis in 1928 were - we still have the power to tell you "no" to use an "AR-15 veto" of your coup if needed.

Never again.
Meister ignored the question, perhaps you will answer it. What investigation is done in public, giving witnesses the opportunity to coordinate testimony? Do accused alleged criminals get to have their attorneys in on sworn depositions?

The impeachment inquiry into Bill Clinton - 100% open to the press.

Next lie?

Oh, my same dirt, and it's nearly 5 o'clock, time for shift change. lol
Honey, you wouldn't know the truth if it were to sit on your lap, bite you on the mouth, and told you to put some ice on it.

LOL- anytime a Trumpette whines about the truth while applauding their Orange Lying Messiah it just makes me laugh.

Don’t worry. The next 5 years will go quickly.

A perfect example of how the "human scum" on the Right lie by editing out the actual context of anyone they quote!
Pelosi was calling out REPUBLICANS for conducting wrap-up smear campaigns, not touting the phenomenon as a go-to strategy for Democrats. That is why nothing the worthless lying scum Right ever posts is true!

Of course it's a go to strategy for the commiecrats, it's right there in the Alynsky's play book.

.

Of course its a go to strategy for the Trumpfascists. Smears have always been part of Trump's playbook.

She’s described exactly what she has done to Don, Kavanaugh, and what hillbilly is doing to Tulsi, who is in her own party. It’s been going on since before he was elected. Trump mentioned Biden. WFC. He’s a POS, and guilty as sin. Isn’t is odd, that oboe doesn’t support his own Vice President? That’s because he knows he’s a moron, is worried [emoji47] about all the shady shit that’s gonna blow back his way. Biden is not capable of making himself breakfast, let alone making decisions about the country.

This is what Trump and his lawyer, William Barr, do not want you to know as they, House Republicans, and Senator Graham throw out various diversions to obscure the work in the impeachment inquiry. As Trump continues to say, "no quid pro quo," his own words, the evidence, and his own acting chief of staff say differently.

In his testimony on Tuesday, William B. Taylor Jr., the top American diplomat in Kiev, effectively confirmed that the President withheld military aid from Ukraine in a quid pro quo effort to pressure that country’s leader to incriminate former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. and smear other Democrats.

Government sources in the Ukrainian capital said Washington pressured Zelensky's camp directly about the need to accommodate Trump's desires or no military aid.

After confirming quid pro quo, acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney said this is how business is done in the Trump administration and "Get over it."

Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Laura Cooper — who handles Ukraine, Russia and Eastern European policy for the Pentagon — testified that U.S. military assistance was restored on September 11 without any public statement by Zelenskiy about investigations then or since.

On September 10, Trump was informed by his advisors that there was a serious problem regarding his political aims in Ukraine and the withholding of military aid, and Schiff knew about it.

Next week, investigators want to hear from two officials on the national security council: Charles Kupperman, the former deputy national security adviser; and Tim Morrison, a top Russia and Eastern Europe policy specialist.

Is it any wonder why frustrated Republicans in the House stormed the meeting room in the capitol and Graham gave us that infantile presentation, asking for a censure of the House! Republicans are desperate because the White House is avoiding the evidence and only objecting to the process. That objection has no basis in fact or circumstance. They are very concerned about the avoidance of the evidence by the White House, and Trump being the only litigator. Everyone else is silent on the issue, even Trump's counsel.

Fool that he is, Trump even admitted his weakness. "I don't have a team ... I am the team." He never knows when to keep his mouth shut.

Again we see the "human scum" Right continue to lie in the face of the truth.

PELOSI: Because, basically, at the end of the day that’s what people are interested in — their representative and what their representative is going to do for their district. Republicans are afraid of that contrast in a race. Because they’re going to go there to be involved in trickle-down economics, shutting down hospitals, and the rest of it. So they don’t want them to see that contrast, so they focus on something else. And it’s a diversionary tactic. It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy. You demonize, and then you — we call it the wrap-up smear. You want to talk about politics? It’s called the wrap-up smear. You smear somebody with falsehoods and all the rest, and then you merchandise it, and then you write it, and they’ll say “See, it’s reported in the press that this, this, and this,” so they have that validation that the press reported the smear, and then it’s called a wrap-up smear. “Now I’m going to merchandise the press’s report on the smear that we made.” It’s a tactic, and it’s self-evident.

Even Trump thinks Republicans are human scum. They're also painfully rightarded. Evidence of that? Even after being called human scum by Trump, they'll still defend him and they'll even vote for him next year if the Senate doesn't convict him.

Republicans, though on respirators with not many left, are in certain ways worse and more dangerous for our Country than the Do Nothing Democrats. Watch out for them, they are human scum!

From your palousey quote, note it's first person.
“Now I’m going to merchandise the press’s report on the smear that we made.” It’s a tactic, and it’s self-evident.

Saul Alinsky’s Rules For Radicals

Me: Take note of 10 through 13.

1. “Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have.”

2. “Never go outside the expertise of your people.”

3. “Whenever possible go outside the expertise of the enemy.”

4. “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.”

5. “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.”

6. “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.”

7. “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.”

8. “Keep the pressure on,”

9. “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.”

10. “The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.”

11. “If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside”

12. “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.”

13. “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”

Expect your own bullshit to be used against you.

Edit, the wrap up smear sounds exactly what Reid did on Romney's taxes, doesn't it?
