Gold is gold - it will never be replaced by bitcoin. For purposes of discussion, here's my basic argument. Bitcoin is only as useful as its network. Since that network is controlled by whoever has the most computational power, no nation worth anything will ever consider bitcoin to be digital gold. Reserve banks demand gold for the simple fact that gold bears NO POLITICAL OR CREDIT RISK.

Bitcoin bears political and credit risk of the nations that dominate bitcoin mining. Period.

Thus - Bitcoin will never do what it claims to do.

Bitcoin is just a huge digital Ponzi scheme to fleece the gullible out of their money.
Like all crypto currencies it's based on nothing, not backed by anyone, and has no intrinsic value.
