Second man charged in burning of pregnant woman in Maryland

A second arrest has been made in the case of a pregnant woman being set on fire in Prince George’s County.

Jonathan Edward Miller III, 27, of Temple Hills, Md., was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder, arson, assault and other offenses, authorities said.

Authorities previously arrested and charged the victim’s boyfriend — Laquinn Phillips, 34, of Southeast Washington — in the case. Phillips has been charged with attempted first- and second-degree murder, arson and assault. He remains in jail.
