Boebert: "I'm tired of this separation of church and state junk".

Give them credit: They're no longer even trying to hide it. And why should they? They know they have the Supreme Court in their pocket.

I'm not kidding when I say that the current incarnation of the Republican Party is pushing for an authoritarian Nationalist Theocracy.

"The Church is supposed to direct the government". Right, Republicans?

What she should have said is that the people should tell government what to do

And in a country like ours where most of us are Christian that means the church foes have a say in government

We've never hid anything Mac. Different people believe different things.

This woman sounds very radical. I disgree with her on that. She is the first elected official I have seen making such statements.

Sounds like the people of Colorado are getting really pissed off and radicalized.

You have a choice. You could argue against them and their ideas, or you could attack them as bad people and try to marginalize them.

While the bulk of republicans are happy just to spite the libs the evangelicals have a pretty radical vision for their new Supreme Court rubber stamp.

One comment hardly supports that claim. You want to back it up with.... something? Or are you just happy to say it, and run along?

Perhaps something like, "The Christian Morality of the People should lead them to tell the government what to do".

That would be fine, well within the limits of our Constitution.

If she said what the op claims, then she is pushing a non-constitutional policy.

Mmm, wow. really puts that in perspective doesn't it? The libs have been pushing non-constitutional policies for generations.

She's your loon. And I proudly will step up and own AOC. Don't know who you are referring to as "potato head".

you found ONE republican pushing a policy that would violate teh Constitution.

ALL of you support policies that violate the constitution.

ALL OF YOU.

We dont always say the right thing at the right time

But I dont think I have to stop voting Republican or transition to a heathen because she misspoke

Correct, you are the one that made a claim she never was an escort. That is no less of a claim than what the Dems said.
hahah then tell your fellow tyrants to prove their claim...and don't expect me, or anyone else to disprove it....that burden shifting on your part is what tyrants do

Oh hell no. Like I said, this is one republican making ONE comment that pushes an unconstitutional position.

Meanwhile the libs support and are currently enacting many, and massive unconstitutional policies from racial discrimination, violations of equal protection clause, gun rights, ect. ect ect.

Prove to me that ALL republicans believe and support this policy, let them enact it, and have it run as government policy for about 60 years, and then we can talk about both sides being "equally bad" or some such shit.

I've long said the US needs to be a Christian nation. Check out my well-received thread on it. It’s Time to Formally Declare America A Christian Nation. Far better than the atheist nation the left wants. And there is no in-between. No such thing as separation of church and state. Never was. It's not possible.

She's 100% right on this one.
