Eric Schmidt, billionaire chair of Alphabet, Inc. the parent company of Google, led a massive fundraising drive in December for leftist analytics firm Civis Analytics, represented by a law firm that partnered with Justice Department special prosecutor Robert Mueller—raising questions about Mueller’s impartiality in his so-called “Russia probe” into President Donald J. Trump’s campaign.

In March 2014, WilmerHale announced Mueller would join its firm as a partner. Mueller left his position in May after the DOJ appointed him as a special prosecutor to look into alleged “ties” between President Trump’s campaign and Russia.

Here's a little lecture to the conservatives on why they're such morons concerning conflicts of interest.

There is no conflict of interest if two people are on the same side. People on the same side were going to work together anyways. That's why, for example, there's not a conflict of interest when a prosecutor is friendly with a policeman working his case.

So, if Mueller knows Comey ... it's irrelevant. They're on the same side of the case. At least that's how American justice has always worked. Trump-snowflakes don't get to change the entire system of American justice just because they cry about it.

Now, if the relationship is between people on opposite sides, then there is a conflict of interest. A prosecutor can't be trusted to prosecute a good friend, hence the prosecutor must recuse. Rosenstein will probably have to testify about Trump. He's on the opposite side of Trump now, so he will have to recuse.
