Of course no one is above the law, but why are some willing to destroy norms, reputations and institutions that serve the U.S very well around the world? All to protect a party that is going to lose in 2024 regardless? This will divide and harm the GOP as it were.

It is interesting that NY wait until after he becomes president before they take such charges seriously. When he was a Dem, he was toast of the town and as NY as the Statue of Liberty, promoted on talk shows and other media outlets. Politically this will fire up his supporters and give credence to conspiracy theorists around the world.

It's a really bad look to publicly arrest him in my opinion. Lay charges, have his lawyers represent him. The leak could be fake anyways, just to test the waters, who knows?

1) wear a mask. It should be N95+ so if asked to remove it, you can say you are immune-compromised and that you cannot remove it.
