Does this protest run in conjunction with all of the other protests over black on black shootings in Brooklyn? Oh wait... Protests like these only occur when it was a cop, or a white guy who did the shooting. That is the sad reality that too many people fail to address. Well, have fun grabbing a new TV set in the name of Kimani Gray... I'm sure that is exactly what he, and his family would have wanted.

Crime's been going down in NYC for quite some time.

And contrary to the conservative hero, Wayne LaPierre's fantasy about "looting" in Brooklyn during Super Storm Sandy, quite the opposite happened.

People were helping each other out.

People were helping each other out.

It still doesn't change the fact that many African Americans cherry pick crimes when it comes to being "outraged" by those crimes. Black on Black crime is quietly avoided, even though it is their biggest problem.

It's very hard to get a license for a gun in NYC..and even harder to get a carry permit.

maybe we should make stricter laws to prevent this type of thing from happening again

Would be nice to be able to trace down where the gun was sold..and find out how it wound up in the hands of a 16 year old kid.

yea, it would be, if only the black market kept records. maybe we should pass a law that requires drug dealers to use baggies with serial numbers on them.

all over most of the country too. and guess what? so is private gun ownership. and it's been going down without ridiculous gun laws
