I don't think that Karl Marx and Engels had communism in mind like we have seen in Russian, South American countries like Venezuela, China, etc. I think Herr George should tell us all how well Communism worked in Russia and the rest of the countries over there. The unfortunate Russians always faced shortages and had to spend an enormous amount of time when they went shopping, with different long lines to pick up the food and other long lines to pay for it. Those who were lucky enough to come to the Los Angeles area were amazed to be able to go into a supermarket and see the enormous variety of food. Once here so many availed themsevles of the opportunities America provide them with, and became very, very successful, unlike many Americans who were born here.
