Bulling Complaint Filed After 91-0 Loss

The bulling complaint is way more embarrassing then the score of the game

From the article in the OP:

[. . .] CBS 11 calls made to the Western Hills coaching staff [the school that lost] were not returned. ...

Can you blame them?

Seriously, having a parent of one of your players file a complaint like this would have to be even more humiliating than the loss.

It sounds like they winning team wasn't being vindictive. They let the back-benchers play when they had a comfortable lead.

It just sounds like it was a terribly mismatched game. But football doesn't have a slaughter rule like softball does.

The coach sat the starters after 20 plays and they had a running clock the entire second half. Anyone who thinks that's reason to complain about bullying is an idiot.

If anyone's got a beef about such games, talk to the folks who put in a slaughter/mercy rule for the state's six man football teams to get it extended to include all football leagues instead.

If the losing team is being bullied over how hard their loss was, I believe that something should be done, but if the actual loss is what is being labeled the act of bullying, to me, that is crazy. If you play your best and still get whupped so hard, oh well. It can't be undone. All that you can do is prepare your self as best as you can for the next game should another one happen for you.

God bless you always!!! :) :) :)

An attorney arguing for thw parent, but may not have been the actual attorney, said the school district was at fault for hiring the coach KNOWN to coach winning teams and had A LONG HISTORY OF SIMILAR CONDUCT. The school district knew that losing was embarrassing and deliberately hired a coach to embarrass the losing tezm.

This isn't an issue about bullying.
This is an issue about shitty coaching by the losing team.

Hmmm...no.

This team was put into a different district this year to reduce travel time to games. Obviously, it is a much larger school now playing against smaller schools.

They scored an average of 70 points a game, 4 of them with the margin of difference was 77 points.

This school should not be playing the league they are in, it's like putting a heavy weight up against welter weights...it just simply isn't competitive.

:blahblah: :anj_stfu:

You can rationalize it and make excuses all you want.

The team and the coaching staff should've prepared better for the game, but they didn't.

The fact is the losing team sucks, and yes it does have something to do with shitty coaching.

Rationalizations? I quoted facts.

In most civilized areas the school systems try to match up schools of the same size to make the games competitive..and consequently interesting to not only the viewers but also the players.

Obviously, not tejas.
