What a catastrophe he would have been. Ten years ago he said that drilling for new oil would take "too long" to bring energy prices down. Ten years ago!
Instead he recommended a mixture of handouts to "the poor" for energy, subsidized wind and solar power, draining the strategic petroleum reserve and higher taxes to make it more painful for Americans to drive. This yokel first pushed gasoline taxes, then a "BTU tax", then carbon taxes.
Of conservation is good for you but not foir him. One f his houses has a 30,000.00 a year electric bill. He paid 544.00 per month to heat just the pool house. Al Gore's 'Inconvenient Truth'? -- A $30,000 Utility Bill

Just woke up to a record breaking 17 degrees for my area at this time of year.

This global warming is proving to be damn cold. ....
