64F water is warm! Come up to the bay area where 55F is average. No wetsuit except for wussies. No rocks either just pure Oly #2 sand.

I surf in Huntington Beach, Newport Beach and Dana Point if Im in the area.

I spent MANY hours surfing at Huntington State Beach below and a little south of the bluffs.

We stayed there one week last summer. Wave was not good at that time but I enjoyed the stay. Then drove south to San Diego.

I lease a condo in La Jolla, San Diego so I can get closer to my kids about 5 minutes walk to the beach. This is where I surf most of the time then fishing off Mexico.
Palm Springs during summer is very hot but weather and golfing at this time is awesome.

Its Miserable low 70° while other part of the nation is comfortably below 0°. LOL.
