Can Bernie beat Trump?

Yeah that’s what we need another billionaire, totally out of touch with the country. An elitist corporatist. That way the American people get no real choice, but the oligarchy is kept happy.

Yes their priority is beating Trump. Nominating a Trump clone is not how one beats Trump.

Yes, why should we elect a guy with a proven record of getting things done in the business and political arena when we can elect a do-nothing socialist?

Just for fun, I read Bloomberg's Wiki entry vs. Bernie's.

Bloomberg started out as a middle class kid, worked his way up, built a huge business empire, became the eighth richest man in the country, then became mayor of the largest city in the country (One with a 2.5 TRILLION GDP) and was elected three times, guiding NYC through the 9/11 Aftermath and the 2008 Crash.

Bernie... has been in Congress since 1991. His Wiki is a list of things he opposed. He didn't sponsor one major piece of legislation in 30 years.
There it is. Can’t fix stupid.

Joe doesn’t care that he’s a racist, sexist, elitist asshole. As long as little Joey thinks he can beat Donnie, that’s the only thing that matters. Joey has sold his soul.

Bloomie is a clone of Donnie. Why would you want him?

Because he can win and he can get things done.

The only two criteria that matter.
Read this silly boy...

Bloomberg is the Equal Evil
by NICHOLAS LEVIS
Bloomberg’s 12-year record as mayor of New York, his billions in personal spending as a political and “philanthropic” donor, and his many recorded public statements all suggest strongly that a Bloomberg regime would be at least as extreme, dangerous to democracy, lawless, and warlike as a second Trump term. I would never vote for either of these men, who are similar in all the ways that matter most, including a shared record as serial purveyors of misogynistic harrassment of women. Even were it possible to persuade me to “vote blue no matter who” in Bloomberg’s case, there is little point in trying. Tens of millions of others who might vote for a Democrat against Trump will never vote for Bloomberg, the Republican oligarch, if he seizes control of the party.

Republican Oligarch

Bloomberg is a long-standing Republican billionaire from New York City, rated as one of the ten richest men in the United States. He supported George W. Bush for president in 2000 and endorsed Bush’s reelection in 2004. As a speaker at the Republican nominating convention in New York that year, then Mayor Bloomberg heaped praise on the criminal invasion of Iraq and the “war on terror.” In 2008, Bloomberg endorsed John McCain against Barack Obama.

So, you want me to prove a negative? Funny...

I asked what you asked. You're not very bright.

Do you drink like most American natives? It seems so

Both of you stop arguing and here is Bloomberg words:

Twitter

It is clear what Bloomberg said and he is correct no one is going to waste money on a 95 year old with cancer that can not be cured...

Then if Bloomberg contracts cancer no treatment for him, or his supporters.

Thank you

Hold on!

So in your opinion a 95 year old with late stage cancer should have treatment that will do nothing to save their life?

Get real because only a fool would waste their money that way!

Now that may or may not be 'realistic' thinking, unless you are the 95 year old with late stage cancer (or his family)

Deciding who and who does not receive care based on (fill in the blank) criteria is socialism/communism at it's finest (cough, cough)

Thing is 1.) Most 95 year olds would not seek treatment...…...and even if they did?

2.) There is no treatment if 'late stage' such as stage 4, which has usually spread throughout the body

That is what Bloomber was talking about.

It would be wasted resources, so why is it impossible for people to understand this.

We already practice Socialized Medicine with the V.A. and somewhat with Medicare and Medicaid...

I really don't think so! I welcome any credible views to the contrary. Here is what I think:

1. If Bernie wins the democratic primary - we'll likely have four more years of Trump*.

2. If Bernie loses the democratic primary - his supporters will likely not support the winner. Trump* wins.

3. Therefore, either way, it looks good for Trump*.

4. I'm watching Bloomberg very closely.

That would be a big hell no.

No one is going to vote for a socialist who uses their hard earned money to pay for his "free" shit.

Trump will win in 2020. Bernie sure as hell won't.

Trump beating Bernie? Hahahaha.
Have you seen the polls? Have you seen the huge rallies?
Bernie is not a mediocre candidate like Hillary.

Are those the same polls that said Hitlery would be the POTUS in 2016??

I don't pay attention to polls and neither should any thinking person.

To many variables for anyone to take any poll seriously. I never have and never will.

Oh I've seem Trumps huge rallies. I doubt Bernie is even in the same ball park as Trump is.

Carry on clueless.

I think you're wrong, and Bernie can beat tRump. It seems to me like it's finally time for his ideas to get a shot. Yes, the tRumplings are already crying "socialism" the same way religious fanatics cried "heresy" during the Inquisition but it doesn't seem to have the impact it had last time around. The electorate is changing, responding to four years racism, Russians, and ineptitude. The people are sick of tRump.

I agree that the electorate is changing - but Bernie is too far left for this time. America isn't there yet.
I think we are, or at least enough of us are.

I’m watching MSNBC tonight, which as we know is the most far left political news and commentary media organization in the country, and they’re saying Bernie is unelectable.
They're just bent because Bernie isn't really a Democrat.

It's actually democrats and they aren't crying socialism. They are outright crying communism.
Your opinion is suspect since as a tRumpling you aren't really allowed to have your own.

I seen, very briefly on FB an ad that said Bloomberg was ahead of Trump in polls. Briefly because the screen burped and the ad was gone. And I couldn't help but laugh, with all Bloomberg's negativity, that it was BS. But with that in mind, I did a couple of searches, just to see...…..nope, nada, nothing. Other than a few stories from when Bloomberg first got into the race back in November saying he may (MAY) be a strong contender.

And as for those 'polls'...…...has anyone here or someone they know, ever been 'polled'??? Other than on newsfeed homepages, that asks about this stuff and inevitably clickbait? I'd bet this is where they get their poll numbers, which isn't a reliable source as most people (from any side) wouldn't vote.
