1) They can't run on the economy. No President in history has lost with an economy this strong.
2) They can't win by running against Trump as the only message. (Hillary Clinton)
3) Healthcare is a sticky subject, because Trump can simply point to what happened the last time Democrats made a healthcare plan.
4) They can't run on trade policy, reasonable people know that past Presidents and both houses sold out the American people in favor of the investor class that resulted in millions of loss jobs, stagnant wages and loss of benefits. They know both Obama and Bush let China do whatever they wanted to do. China has been wholesale stealing patented technology and patented products and selling it to other countries across the globe cheaper than our products. They slap tarrifs on our products, ban others. China basically offered U.S. manufacturers two choices - make it here, or we will copy your product and sell it to everyone you sell it to at half the price. And good luck suing us for patent infringement (LOL)... but you investors can invest in these infringing companies and make money that way. (applause)
