This thread isn't about abolishing taxes. It's about demonstrating how we benefit from corporations paying taxes.

So we should match 3rd world labor markets ?

We should compete for them.

Businesses make out with lower labor and taxes but they still have to pay transportation costs to get their product back into the US. That's very costly, but they still make out with even with those costs.

In the US, we don't have to match labor or taxes dollar for dollar. We just have to make it cheap enough for them to make their product here with our taxes and labor than it is to make it overseas with transportation costs. Companies benefit greatly by making their products close to the consumers they sell their products to.

We could sure use less regulations as well. Regulations cost businesses money, so that's another consideration they have to take into account when deciding where to make their products. There is no ObamaCare or fines in Vietnam.

Jobs that pay less than $15/hr? Of course they should. Most of the teenagers I have met aren't worth that much. They can't even get your order right at Burger King, and that's all they do all day.

This thread isn't about abolishing taxes. It's about demonstrating how we benefit from corporations paying taxes.

If you raise the taxes on corporations, then they just move elsewhere where the taxes are more agreeable.

If you lower the taxes on corporations, then they tend to hire and train more workers and thus increase their productivity, which is both good for the corporation, good for the workers and good for the local economy and the national economy.
