Suddenly, even though Kavanaugh has been in the news before, when Kavanaugh is recommended for the highest court in the land, that vehemently anti-Trump leftist comes forward and says that Kavanaugh attempted to rape her and as said, she lacks any details and those who she said were witnesses, refute her story. Another conflicting issue is that she supposedly sent a letter to Comrade Dianne Feinstein stating her allegation, yet insisting that her claim be anonymous. There would be no point to sending an "anonymous" letter as if left anonymous, you have no standing. The accuser either knew full well that the letter would be "leaked" or she is part of a scam to get Kavanaugh discredited and his career and family life destroyed to delay any new Supreme Court appointees until after the November elections.

She knew it would go public because she scrubbed her social media presence and had a polygraph done. You only do that when you know people are going to dig into stuff you want to hide and because you know your story is going to be challenged.
