So yeah anyone with a damn brain knew but still six million Jews died and ten million Chinese were killed and twenty million Russians but let not count the damn deaths...

Also Albanian genocide. It shouldn't be about counting deaths, it's not a competition. All should be remembered so it does not happen again. The Jewish holocaust is most often used as an example because it is the best documented. Others are glossed over and I would agree there should be more awareness about them.
