The hypocrisy of banning stem cell research just makes me mad. Everyday fertility clinics literally THROW AWAY unused fertilized human embryos, but the government and religion says its absolute murder to use this tissue. At the same point we spend millions of dollars a year to develop weapons to more effectively KILL PEOPLE yet the government refuses to support thousands of researchers trying to use tissue from a few embryos to develop potential cures that will save lives. Why can't we get a scientist in the White House instead of a C average Poli Sci major that doesn't have the foggiest clue what scientific research is about?
