Come on, half this stuff isn't even real. There is a carefully groomed psychological profile, or to be frank, a stereotype, of a certain man who is the very personification of evil.

To molest = to annoy, bother, harass, or importune.
And a man did that to a child! How horrible!
The problem is that we're just not telling the truth in court if that's worth 20-40 years in prison, and we cannot even discuss the particulars of the case in public without being charged with the same crime ourselves.
I know for a fact there is a 100% peanut-free child-friendly zone right next door to that very courthouse, and I personally saw the investigators in that case breathing hard, getting it on, hunched over their computer terminals in a trailer with a fiber-optic cable lowered down a manhole right in front of a local elementary school.
Come on, folks. This stuff is "for the ladies" and those filthy tabloid magazines are flying off the shelves at the grocery store checkout line. It just ain't real.
It's like the Green River killer or Charles Manson, a whole ring of conspiracy to commit murder, some guy took the fall for the sake of the tabloid papers, and ...
