BEIJING: China will press ahead with its multi-billion-dollar financing of coal plants in developing countries, a top climate official said on Tuesday (Apr 27), despite Beijing's stated aim of slashing carbon emissions.
In 2020, China opened three-quarters of the world's newly funded coal plants, according to the UK-based monitor CarbonBrief, and accounted for more than 80 per cent of newly announced coal power projects.

Far as I know, China has been electrifying countries in Africa (and maybe other continents, not sure) and in exchange, CCP has a lot of influence and power in those countries. The CCP's fifty year plan to become the dominant super-power is ongoing and they intend to take over w/o firing a shot. They're very dangerous...
