China in military exercise with NATO country

The Uyghurs constitute a problem in China. There live 10 million in China.
Absorbing 10 million people is achievable, Germany has absorbed 16 Million East-Germany plus another Millions of so-called Russian-Germans in recent years.

Turkey controls all rivers that are relevant for this region, also Anatolia is very fertile and suitable for agriculture. We could feed 200 Million people in Anatolia.
It would be an economical challenge to integrate 10 million more people into society, but China has enough money. China and Turkey could initiate an emigration-programme, I think China would co-finance such project,
because China gains stability in Xianjin region after Uyghurs have been relocated. A region where oil and natural gas pipelines from Central Asia to China arrive.

Yes, the Chinese are starting to be good capitalists. Where the US used to have money the chinese are stepping in. International influence through economic assistance is an area in which the US is fading and rightly so. We cannot continue to build up other countries infrastucture and ignore our own failing bridges and roads.

The strategic importance of Turkey to the US dimished with the demise of the old Soviet Union.

Good capitalist, thats pretty funny, this project will be a giant black hole for money, they will have to dump money in by the shipload over the entire life of the railway.

Billions of dollars every year.

Not to mention how stable that region is.

Yes, look at the billions we give to that region or for that matter to the world. We gave $41.9 billion dollars in military and economic assistance in 2007,
$1.9 billion to Egypt,
$5.8 billion to Afghanistan,
$8.1 billion to Iraq
$2.5 billion to Isreal
$1.5 billion to Russia
$1.1 billion to Sudan
and numerous other millions.

We only gave 30 million to the Turks so who do you think will have the most influence with them?

The 30 million probably cover the sanitation costs of the municipality Incirlik base is located in.

The Turkish economy has grown from 26th largest in 2002 to 16th largest in 2010.
Turkey has better credit default swap ratings then some EU members.
There is no problem in liquidity for Turkey.

Israel's per capita income is 3x that of Turkey.

Name one invention that has originated in Turkey: Not one.
Name one product manufactured in Turkey with global demand: Not one.

Combined with Turkey's oppression of the Kurds and Armenians and Turkey's occupation of northern Cyprus and its 20 year blockade of Armenia, combined with its alliance with rogue states Iran, Syria and Sudan, and, its refusal to acknowledge its history in the Armenian genocide, and Turkey is just another pathetic Islamic shit hole

How about one of the most important elements that is used in Nuclear reactors.

Boron, rare element in high demand. It is also needed for fiberglass production. Only two places in the world where it is commercially economical. Turkey and the USA.

Turkey is still not where it belongs economically. We do not have the tax-incomes of China.
Till 2023 we will already invest 100 Billion $ in new highways, additional 35 Billion $ Highways will be built by private-economy through BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) model.
$100 billion in transportation projects planned for next 13 years

The 35 Billion $ BOT thing is not ambitious, because in September 2010 it was already signed with a Italian-Turkish consortium to build a 6.5 Billion $ highway at their own costs in BOT model.

Erdogan Like Ataturk Roils Elite as Kiler Rises With AK's Power - Bloomberg

In that time we invested 41 Billion $ in infrastructure.
Now economy and taxes have risen and we will invest a larger sum into infrastructure.
Total debt of Turkish State is just 45% of GDP.
OECD predicts Turkish economy to grow average annualy 6.7% from 2011-2017.

We can take credit from China without any concerns.
That we take credit from China in a bilateral state-to-state credit already shows, that this credit has better interest conditions then the credit on free-market.
China gains influence with Turkey, and everyone is happy in the new multi-polar world-order.

If Israel grows every year 4% till 2025, Israel's nominal GDP will reach 345 Billion $.
If Israel grows at 5% it will reach 403 Billion $ in nominal GDP.

In Purchasing Power Parity, Turkish GDP will be much higher.
You know what that means for you?

It leads the world in civilian research-and-development spending per capita. It ranks second behind the U.S. in the number of companies listed on the Nasdaq. Israel, with seven million people, attracts as much venture capital as France and Germany combined.

Don't bother with him, let him keep his delusion that Turkey is anything more than a third world shit hole, truth is that is run solely by extreme nationalists and religious extremists, such a combination is toxic and Turkey will soon collapse in on itself due to internal conflicts such as over the Kurds and the PKK the Turkish government always fails to crush (regardless of how much the economy improves). If China wants Turkey it can have it.
