They were at Camp 4 in the death zone/on the shoulder separating Everest from Lhotse AKA- the South Col. Takes everything you can muster just to walk/take care of yourself, let alone others.

do yall know they think these 4 died of carbon monoxide poisoning...due to not venting their tent...has nothing to do with the mountain....the mountain believes in darwins theory

If true how could they have been so stupid?

It's like the mexicans here in Houston,every year there's at least two cases of carbon monoxide poisoning.

At that altitude you aren't thinking properly, and if there was snow coming down odds are the snow blocked the exhaust and they were too befuddled to figure it out.
