This is not the question. The real question is why republicans want to make it difficult for all eligible voters to exercise the franchise. I don't know who would be voting in the middle of the night, but I can guess that they are people who work odd hours and want to take care of their civic responsibilities before they finally hit bed and homeworker mothers who must wait until their husbands come home and assume care of the couple's children.

Explain what is wrong with 24-hour voting. Voting is the same at 2 a.m. as it is at 2 p.m.

I didn't list the only changes Texas plans to make like killing their drive through voting centers and killing their 24 hour voting program....

As far as Delaware, 71% of their registered voters, voted in 2020, while in Texas only 60% of their voters voted in 2020.... 67% of ALL American registered voters turned out to vote in 2020 in the USA overall in 2020.

only 6 states did worse than Texas, all Republican states, but 1.

So, you are correct Texas is not the worst state that makes it hard to vote, but in the worst bottom 7.
