Yes. Law is based on technicalities. You are technically not guilty until you either plea guilty or a jury says you're guiltyPresumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law by a jury of their peers.
So if I walk up to someone and shoot them dead right in front of you, you will assume I am innocent until proven guilty?
But then again a guilty verdict doesn't always mean the guy did it just like a not guilty verdict doesn't always mean the guy is innocent
