The 67 Thunderbird blew me away like no other car as a kid, not only for the big oval mouth unique and unlike any other car but for the innovative and new hideaway headlights and sequenced tail lights which actually pointed the direction of the turn!

As I got older, I never bought one though as I thought the interior was a disappointment, rather plain and cheap looking and fell short of the innovation and styling the exterior conveyed.
 
Don't like the red interior in this one, but the flathead engine is pretty cool.



Those Mercurys that year had a 'sinister' look to them , with the semi-bullet noses and 'shark teeth' grill work.
