The data from NASA has NOT been faked. I know you WANT to believe it has been but that doesn't make it so. Sorry!
...Recent revelations from the Climategate emails, originating from the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia, showed how all the data centers most notably NOAA and NASA conspired in the manipulation of global temperature records to suggest that temperatures in the 20th century rose faster than they actually did...
...the global surface station data is seriously compromised.
There was a major station dropout and an increase in missing data from remaining stations which occurred suddenly around 1990. Just about the time the global warming issue was being elevated to importance in political and environmental circles.
A clear bias was found towards removing higher elevation, higher latitude, and rural stations the cooler stations during this culling process, though that data was not also removed from the base periods from which averages, and then anomalies, were computed.
The data also suffers contamination by urbanization and other local factors, such as land-use/land-cover changes and improper siting.
There are also uncertainties in ocean temperatures. This is no small issue, as oceans cover 71% of Earths surface....
Good night Dude try to come up with some REASONABLE arguments the next time we meet.
NASA doesn't FAKE data they just report on their SCIENTIFIC DATA which is IRREFUTABLE!!!
According to the Climategate emails, they're just as complicit as Jones. Hide the decline. The data from NASA has NOT been faked. I know you WANT to believe it has been but that doesn't make it so. Sorry!
Damn, this global warming thing really is kind of a religion to these people.

Now I'm just waiting for these zealots to turn on their former priests and saints for heresy.
The data has been faked....One of the chief ring leaders of the whole AGW scam, one Phil Jones, has admitted so.
That man's admissions are the central subject of this thread.
There's no shame in letting go and admitting that you've been hoodwinked.
You should click the link, below, and read the entire thing, not just these highlights. But for now, the highlights are cool, too:
Climategate U-turn as scientist at centre of row admits: There has been no global warming since 1995

* Data for vital 'hockey stick graph' has gone missing
* There has been no global warming since 1995
* Warming periods have happened before - but NOT due to man-made changes
Data: [picture caption] Professor Phil Jones admitted his record keeping is 'not as good as it should be' [Do'oh!]
The academic at the centre of the Climategate affair, whose raw data is crucial to the theory of climate change, has admitted that he has trouble keeping track of the information. [DO'OH!]
Colleagues say that the reason Professor Phil Jones has refused Freedom of Information requests is that he may have actually lost the relevant papers. [Do'oh!]
Professor Jones told the BBC yesterday there was truth in the observations of colleagues that he lacked organisational skills, that his office was swamped with piles of paper and that his record keeping is not as good as it should be. [Duh!]
The data is crucial to the famous hockey stick graph used by climate change advocates to support the theory.
Professor Jones also conceded the possibility that the world was warmer in medieval times than now suggesting global warming may not be a man-made phenomenon. [No shit, Sherlock!]
And he said that for the past 15 years there has been no statistically significant warming.
