Mueller's only role as Special Counsel is the Trump-Russia investigation supposedly.

Part of what throws people off is that since Mueller is famously Republican, then "surely he would not be biased toward the Clinton's or the DNC in any way", and so Washington and the media have molded his credibility around that, even though he may have very deep ties with them.

There are House oversight committees. They've been around for decades. Oversight of Executive Branch activities seems legitimate to me. I recall a Congressional committee investigated Benghazi for something like 6 years. Didn't seem to hinder things too much now, did it? LOL
