CNN on Benghazi committee: Immediate headline "GOP committee finds no wrongdoing by Clinton"

Thats because if there was wrongdoing the Republicans would play the Easter Egg game and tell people to go find it. They'd be shouting from the roof tops that finally their 23rd investigation turned up something
The FIRST investigation turned up FOUR DEAD AMERICANS & ONE BIG ASS LIE.

All a result of Hillary's ideals.

The 4 dead guys were already turned up and what you claim is a lie is only a claim. 17 investigations later and you still have shit but rumors and allegations.

Maybe you guys just suck that bad where you cant lay a glove on her :dunno:
Glad to see you support corruption. It will weaken your position in future.

Again, your sheer declaration means nothing. You need more than pointing to your butt and going "owee"

Quit your lies.
The following facts are among the many new revelations in Part I:

Despite President Obama and Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta’s clear orders to deploy military assets, nothing was sent to Benghazi, and nothing was en route to Libya at the time the last two Americans were killed almost 8 hours after the attacks began. [pg. 141]With Ambassador Stevens missing, the White House convened a roughly two-hour meeting at 7:30 PM, which resulted in action items focused on a YouTube video, and others containing the phrases “f any deployment is made,” and “Libya must agree to any deployment,” and “[w]ill not deploy until order comes to go to either Tripoli or Benghazi.” [pg. 115]The Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff typically would have participated in the White House meeting, but did not attend because he went home to host a dinner party for foreign dignitaries. [pg. 107]A Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team (FAST) sat on a plane in Rota, Spain, for three hours, and changed in and out of their uniforms four times. [pg. 154]None of the relevant military forces met their required deployment timelines. [pg. 150]The Libyan forces that evacuated Americans from the CIA Annex to the Benghazi airport was not affiliated with any of the militias the CIA or State Department had developed a relationship with during the prior 18 months. Instead, it was comprised of former Qadhafi loyalists who the U.S. had helped remove from power during the Libyan revolution. [pg. 144]

There is no one else responsible for Benghazi. Hillary & Obama were in charge & complete control. Those men gave their lives for Obama & Hillary's ideals of putting forth a non aggressive image towards Islam. Heavy weapons as well as other types of support were requested before & during the attack. They were declined. They are dead solely because of Obama & Hillary. The subsequent attempt to fool Americans by blaming it on a video was a disgusting display of their disregard for our men.

Too bad for your argument that the House Select Committee on Intelligence absolved the administration of any wrongdoing at Benghazi. Otherwise your meme might have worked.

Of course they found no wrong doing.

You can't arrest someone for incompetence and as far as douchebag in the WH is concerned, he thought more of his Vegas fund raiser than he did of four dead men.

You obviously could care less about those men as well. If you thought anything of their deaths you wouldn't be defending incompetence.

Obviously this event can't be boiled down to the simplistic level you put it at. 8 Congressional investigations, $29 million dollars spent, 50 congressional hearings, thousands of pages of documents, hundreds of people testifying and thousands of questions asked all revealed nothing. Nothing new to add.

At some point you have to ask yourself this: If the $22 million spent revealed no new truth to be found, why was it necessary to spend $7 million more to get a different and more preferred truth?

Its very simplistic.

They had months or warnings, they did nothing.

Can't get any simpler than that.
And they came up with nothing new to add. Is that shameful or just stupidity?

No life that is serving our country should have a $ amount applied to them, such as you are doing. To prevent it from happening again, it is worth any amount of money.

How about that $6 billion unaccounted for by Clinton's State Dept? Was that worth it to you?

The republican panel members effort to blame Hillary has ended and their Bogus Benghazi Panel are now uniting with the fugitive Dr. Richard Kimble in search of a One Armed Bandit.

I guess if the R's in congress hadn't cut embassy security this might have had a different ending. Maybe when the Dems take over we can open a slew of investigations over that.

Where the hell were you??
His head then, like now, was up Obama's ass. No time for fact finding in there

Aww, when you cant find answers you go back to butt jokes like a grown up
You expressing your inner bigot now? Be careful that's not allowed by your brethren

Quit the lies. They were not to absolve ,or charge anyone.
Any absolving is being done by you and yours only, since the announcement of their deaths. Facts matter not to you.

I don't care how many times you scream it ain't changing the fact that "no new evidence is found" It is over and done with, you're leave with nothing.

This is the Clowns in DC you are talking about. They waste tax payer dollars all the time. Nothing new there.

Unlike you, I don't need a hearing to tell me what I should believe. Unlike you I know incompetence when I see it.

That isn't new and was covered in many other reports. The airbase in Italy was too far and they had a refueling problem they could not respond for lack of logistical support.

For the Liberal voter it makes her a Presidential candidate.
Must have a vagina

Keep searching, there's someone out there for everyone.
You must be one of those Wiccans.

Only way you can meet girls.

I'm good, but thanks for the concern.
I'm not concerned.

You apparently are concerned about vaginas.

......

So, you wanted a report with vague generalizations, never naming names, never showing evidence to back of those statements? Is that what you would consider a complete investigation? Let's look at who is really a political hack here, shall we?

Answer me this. Why did Susan Rice go on the morning shows blaming a film maker, when this State Dept and Admin knew it wasn't. Why did Clinton tell the families they would get the film maker, when their bodies arrived back on American soil when she had privately let her daughter know directly after the attack, and the Egyptian PM that it was not a video?
Answer me this.
You're going back to year zero to rehash that shit when the report was released TODAY???? You don't have the balance to stay on point?

And you have the fucking gall to call me an idiot?

Have another cup of that GOP Kool-Aide, Dippy Do. It was a fucking Witch Hunt from the get-go, fool!
Did you speed-read the report to arrive at that idiot conclusion, Happy Jack?
Have you???? I watched the dog & pony show this AM after years of the that House Committee horseshit. It was a political Witch Hunt, and that can be found by reading between the lines of the findings, you partisan hack.

I agree with Congressman Gowdy:

ON MEACHAM, EXECUTIVE EDITOR, RANDOM HOUSE: Congressman, what is the lesson that the country should take from your report?

GOWDY: That Congress does a lousy job of conducting apolitical, nonpartisan investigations and the American people deserve better.
  • Did we taxpayers really want to pay for a months-long investigation resulting in an 800 page report, the key lesson of which, as stated by the report's primary author/"owner," that Congress isn't any good at nonpartisanship? Really? Who didn't know that?
  • Who doesn't know that American voters are, as well as lousy at apolitical, nonpartisan reviews and analysis of pretty much everything, often unwilling to do so even if and when they otherwise can practice apolitical, nonpartisan behavior and thought?
That answer comes from the Committee Chairman who could have run a legitimate, respected, professional non-partisan hearing, but instead chose to go full tilt propaganda partisan and issue a useless report.

I watched a member of the administration say that two days after Benghazi as did anyone else watching TV.

They had a QRT twenty minutes away. They just never got the order to go.

Wrong. Lie all you want. It doesn't change the facts.

More for others that care-

The following facts are among the many new revelations in Part II:

Five of the 10 action items from the 7:30 PM White House meeting referenced the video, but no direct link or solid evidence existed connecting the attacks in Benghazi and the video at the time the meeting took place. The State Department senior officials at the meeting had access to eyewitness accounts to the attack in real time. The Diplomatic Security Command Center was in direct contact with the Diplomatic Security Agents on the ground in Benghazi and sent out multiple updates about the situation, including a “Terrorism Event Notification.” The State Department Watch Center had also notified Jake Sullivan and Cheryl Mills that it had set up a direct telephone line to Tripoli. There was no mention of the video from the agents on the ground. Greg Hicks—one of the last people to talk to Chris Stevens before he died—said there was virtually no discussion about the video in Libya leading up to the attacks. [pg. 28]The morning after the attacks, the National Security Council’s Deputy Spokesperson sent an email to nearly two dozen people from the White House, Defense Department, State Department, and intelligence community, stating: “Both the President and Secretary Clinton released statements this morning. … Please refer to those for any comments for the time being. To ensure we are all in sync on messaging for the rest of the day, Ben Rhodes will host a conference call for USG communicators on this chain at 9:15 ET today.” [pg. 39]Minutes before the President delivered his speech in the Rose Garden, Jake Sullivan wrote in an email to Ben Rhodes and others: “There was not really much violence in Egypt. And we are not saying that the violence in Libya erupted ‘over inflammatory videos.’” [pg. 44]According to Susan Rice, both Ben Rhodes and David Plouffe prepared her for her appearances on the Sunday morning talk shows following the attacks. Nobody from the FBI, Department of Defense, or CIA participated in her prep call. While Rhodes testified Plouffe would “normally” appear on the Sunday show prep calls, Rice testified she did not recall Plouffe being on prior calls and did not understand why he was on the call in this instance. [pg.98]On the Sunday shows, Susan Rice stated the FBI had “already begun looking at all sorts of evidence” and “FBI has a lead in this investigation.” But on Monday, the Deputy Director, Office of Maghreb Affairs sent an email stating: “McDonough apparently told the SVTS [Secure Video Teleconference] group today that everyone was required to ‘shut their pieholes’ about the Benghazi attack in light of the FBI investigation, due to start tomorrow.” [pg. 135]After Susan Rice’s Sunday show appearances, Jake Sullivan assured the Secretary of the State that Rice “wasn’t asked about whether we had any intel. But she did make clear our view that this started spontaneously and then evolved.” [pg. 128]Susan Rice’s comments on the Sunday talk shows were met with shock and disbelief by State Department employees in Washington. The Senior Libya Desk Officer, Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, State Department, wrote: “I think Rice was off the reservation on this one.” The Deputy Director, Office of Press and Public Diplomacy, Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, State Department, responded: “Off the reservation on five networks!” The Senior Advisor for Strategic Communications, Bureau of Near East Affairs, State Department, wrote: “WH [White House] very worried about the politics. This was all their doing.” [pg. 132]The CIA’s September 13, 2012, intelligence assessment was rife with errors. On the first page, there is a single mention of “the early stages of the protest” buried in one of the bullet points. The article cited to support the mention of a protest in this instance was actually from September 4. In other words, the analysts used an article from a full week before the attacks to support the premise that a protest had occurred just prior to the attack on September 11. [pg. 47]A headline on the following page of the CIA’s September 13 intelligence assessment stated “Extremists Capitalized on Benghazi Protests,” but nothing in the actual text box supports that title. As it turns out, the title of the text box was supposed to be “Extremists Capitalized on Cairo Protests.” That small but vital difference—from Cairo to Benghazi—had major implications in how people in the administration were able to message the attacks. [pg. 52]

Yes, it did come from the Committee Chair. Yes, he knows that's what happened. He knows what degree of control he had in making it be that way, but at this juncture, I don't. He also knows that had he behaved differently, it need not have been such an insubstantive endeavor. Heck, it might not even have needed to happen at all.

[pg. 144]

That isn't new and was covered in many other reports. The airbase in Italy was too far and they had a refueling problem they could not respond for lack of logistical support.

They had a QRT twenty minutes away. They just never got the order to go.

Wow. The bias is so pathetic it's sickening. The Benghazi committee press conference was finishing and the theme was "read the report". Trey Gowdy, when asked if Clinton was at fault, implied she was but rather answered "just read the report".

When he walked off stage...CNN IMMEDIATELY ran the headline "GOP led committee finds no wrongdoing by Hillary".

God damn....CNN must have a staff of alien speed readers!!!! They read the report, 800 pages long, in less than 2 seconds!!!!!

Millions of taxpayer dollars have gone into 8 Benghazi investigations. All this for a right wing witch hunt on Hillary Clinton. In 2012 Benghazi was used against Barack Obama--and it didn't work. In 2012 Republicans blamed Barack Obama for Benghazi--and Hillary Clinton was basically left out of that attack because it was Obama who was running for re-election. Hillary Clinton announces her candidacy and again it's all about Benghazi but now it's all her fault.

During the last 12 hour congressional Benghazi hearing, Hillary Clinton made Republicans look like total idiots, when in her opening statement she went through a long list of other U.S. Embassies that had been attacked. Most notably under Reagan when 240 U.S. Marines were killed in a U.S. Embassy in Lebanon. Of course that only ended up being 1 investigation.

These Reich wing dog & pony shows have been a very costly ridiculous soap box opera. All done to fill the campaign treasury box of the Republican party. In the end they have only benefited right wing talk radio and those on FOX news to give them something to talk about. All for political entertainment, ratings and those obscene profit breaks.

EMAILS: The FBI has already stated there was no criminal wrong doing, so there will be no charges. And if they were going to charge her, they would also have to charge Colin Powell & Condi Rice as they have the same email issues.

Quit the lies. They were not to absolve ,or charge anyone.
Any absolving is being done by you and yours only, since the announcement of their deaths. Facts matter not to you.
The republican panel members effort to blame Hillary has ended and their Bogus Benghazi Panel are now uniting with the fugitive Dr. Richard Kimble in search of a One Armed Bandit.

I don't care how many times you scream it ain't changing the fact that "no new evidence is found" It is over and done with, you're leave with nothing.
Of course no new evidence was found. It was there all the time. Just a matter of uncovering what happened.
