With all of the hubub over Republicans holding the nation hostage yet again, another example of one of their endearing traits was overlooked: hypocrisy

Colorado Republicans who opposed federal aid for Sandy victims flip-flop with floods in their state

President Barack Obama signed an emergency declaration Sunday to help Colorado recover from the floods that continue to ravage many parts of the state.
Republican Reps. Mike Coffman, Cory Gardner, Doug Lamborn and Scott Tipton joined the rest of their state’s delegation in asking Obama to send emergency funds to Colorado.
Those same four Republicans voted againstt the Sandy relief package in January, and Lamborn voted against a smaller billion relief package less than two weeks later.
All three of Colorado’s Democratic representatives voted for each of the Sandy relief packages.

And president Obama even signed an emergency declaration! What a socialist asshole!!

yeah yeah, all you care so much for others? isn't that what you spew?...

then turn around and use VICTIMS of any tragedy for your hate agendas

shameful

Everyone knows what really happened to the Sandy aid. If they don't, they should. Billions went to agencies in every part of the country. To get the vote, everyone who was voting had to get a little bit of sugar. Harry Reid took the biggest piece of the pie at $33.2 million for eight projects in the state of Senate Energy and Water Appropriations Subcommittee Ranking Member Harry Reid (D-Nev.), including: $25 million for rural Nevada; $1.5 million for Truckee Meadows; and $725,000 for Tahoe Regional Planning - See more at: Congress Piles the Pork into Hurricane Sandy Relief | The Fiscal Times

Colorado taxes go into paying for relief aid. Now it's their turn to get some back. Nevada got more out of the Sandy relief funds than the victims of Sandy got. Colorado paid into that fund.

Republicans don't even bother to apologize for their self serving greed. It's why their party is dying. Good riddance.

I see the Left Wing Media is lying again and their kneepadders are sucking it all up like it was their Mother's milk.

just think folks, DETROIT IS YOUR FUTURE...yeeeehaaaa

Seriously, JED. You and Joe are both the same. You feign compassion for others yet you turn around and use their pain and suffering to score political points. To you death is a racket. Absolutely disgusting.

As are issues of race and wealth..or lack of wealth.
To liberals, every issue is political.
Liberals are convinced that political power for their side is not only desired, it is an expectation.

Typical. But you have to understand that Republicans do not care about other people's problems but only their own. They want to cut funding to anything and everything except when it is in their district. They are very sick people.

Gee, the reason for opposition couldn't have been ridiculous additions to the bill, could it?

Nah, just couldn't be.

the more you spout facile spurious bullshit like this, the more you marginalize yourself in so far as wanting the rest of us to consider your posts in a serious manner...

Sorry, Tampon, but you're a moron if you can't tell that I'm being facetious. Nah, I take that back. You know that I'm not being serious; that I'm only mocking the hypocrisy of Republicans who vote against aid when it's not their state and ask for it when it is their state. You're just the King of Faux Outrage.

To me, death should never be a political issue. To me, the federal gov't should be able to dispense aid to any state when needed without having to deal with partisan congressman with an agenda. But that's just me. You should talk to those congressman in CO. They seem to have a different idea.

So Jed,

Do you ever look to see if you are being lied to by your left wing sources as you are on this issue?

Or do you simply swallow the lies?

It would all be solved if he federal government dispensed aid only to an affected area and no one could throw in pork for their own state.

they use anything to hate on Republicans...no questions asked

it pretty sad stuff but these left wing sites know this kind of stuff they eat up, so that is what push, HATE..If they have to use people, they will..

too bad they never think of and use to educate people with the 53MILLION victims (would of be citizens of this country) from abortion..

it's like an sickness with them

Where's the lie? Those reps voted against aid for hurricane Sandy, but asked for aid for flood-damaged CO.
