Casinos only benefit a very small percentage of Native Americans. Most of them live in poverty.

Then it is up to their brethren to take care of them by providing jobs etc.

I wonder if the high level of alcoholism among Native Americans has nothing to do with their poverty.

Some claim it is genetics others claim it is because European setters brought over the juice.

Unless those manufacturers or settlers poured it down their throats, it can't drink itself.

That is what I do not understand, there are programs out there to help the sick and suffering alcoholic why not take advantage of them here?
