All are aware of both parties and who they have evolved into over time, as well as
who "enacted" the laws in the first place.

It is rather pointless to politicize which "party" enacted the Jim Crow laws.

The "seperate but unequal" system in place happened in America. And were enforced in the north as well as the south.

The fact that Jim Crow laws even survived 100 years is a statement about who "America" really was during that era.

It is rather pointless (or ignorant) to blame the Confederacy on something the USA did from their very first existence up until after the Civil War was over. Right?

Put in as a condition of the southern states joining the union

Does rightwinger even know that there was slavery in the North and Union States?

Does not excuse creating a nation to keep 40 percent of its people in slavery

Those slaves of Lee were from his father in law, who stipulated in his will that they be freed. The father in law died in 1857, Lee freed them in 1862, because Lee was an honorable man. /sarcasm.
