Cons don't want religious freedom, they want their religion running the government

It's always been this way. Most of the "blue laws" we have in this country regulating behavior were brought into existence by Christians codifying their religious beliefs into laws, like the no alcohol sales on Sunday, for example.

Cons don't want science in the government. They don't want Muslims or Catholics in the government. The con conspiracy is to have an evangelical government telling everyone how to live. That's what this Indiana law was all about, and they got caught and had to change the law so that Indiana didn't go bankrupt. The far right cons running for POTUS have no chance now. The GOP is exposed as the party of bigots.

No, we don't moron. That only exists in your alleged "mind".

Liberals are the ones who want religion and government to be the same. That's why they are redefining Christianity and passing laws that everyone must practice the newly made religion.
Christianity used to be defined as love for your neighbor, reserving judgment to God and not casting the first stone.

Conservatives have redefined Christianity inthe Westboro Baptist Church vein.

Its possible you just out-lied Obama holy shit man.
Calling it a lie doesn't change reality.

You are a liar and it's a lie, it's also nothing more than your stupid opinion.

It won't stop them from making up another blatant lie about the right tomorrow. Its sad really.

I respect moral Atheists. I disrespect false Christians. I have warm sympathy for true Christians.

Liberal formula to debate:
1. create a false dichotomy
2. argue against that false dichotomy
3. when no one will argue for the false dichotomy, claim victory.

"Cons don't want religious freedom, they want their religion running the government"

It's not all conservatives, it's mostly social conservatives and the Christian right. And there are many partisan hacks on the right who are trying to take advantage of the controversy for some perceived political gain.

But yes, there are many social conservatives and others on the Christian right who seek to codify religious dogma into secular law, in violation of the Establishment Clause and the mandate from the Framers that church and state remain separate.

Many on the right also attempt to propagate the lie that necessary, proper, and Constitutional public accommodations laws 'violate' religious liberty, when in fact nothing could be further from the truth. No Federal, state, or local laws – current or proposed – 'interfere' with religious practice; consequently, 'religious restoration' measures are inane, unwarranted, and only facilitate discrimination in the private sector against minorities, such as gay Americans.

In fact, 'religious restoration' measures are a 'solution' in search of a 'problem' that doesn't exist.

Funny, not all conservatives are Christians, but you give off the distinct impression that all liberals are idiots.

And VERY few "christians" desire a Theocratic Government.
