This is good practice for when we eventually leave. The UK was free when it was in the EU.
Out of the EU the UK isn’t any more free, just more alone.

Our factories offered this to our government and were knocked back. Then the contracts were awarded to party donors. See Dyson and JCB.Tommy our car companies are going to build ventilators, see. Ford and GM. They should have 10,000 by the end of May and something like 50,000 by July.
Again: what industries in the UK are going to build ventilators? Or are you going to get them from your good old friend that you're always talking SO HIGHLY of here, the US?

They also refused help from the EU on purely ideological grounds because we are , duh, independent now.

So, the private sector is still producing ventilators, while in the entire NHS you had....8,000. Wow

I am not convinced that you have any interest in the subject though. You are just trying to score points to support your nutty world view.
I have explained to you why that is but it doesn't fit your dogma riddled world view. Your navy is currently supporting your health system because it cant cope. Socialism in action. The US, with our healthcare system which you think is so terrible, has enough ventilators for about .062% of our population--about 200,000 ventilators for 320 million people.
You have 8,000 ventilators in that NHS you love so dearly with a population of 66.44 million people. That means your percentage is .015%
Good luck, I mean it, to anyone who needs a vent. That's just...really bad
